A90 Toyota Supra teased once again

ABU DHABI: The teasing game for Toyota is not ending soon. We are not very far from the official reveal of the new A90 Toyota Supra that is scheduled to take place at the upcoming 2019 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) and the company has released yet another teaser.

This time it’s the teaser video, which has been shot at the foothills of Mount Fuji. The new A90 Toyota Supra can be heard doing rounds on the Fuji Speedway circuit, with a monochrome video-display setting. Nothing more can be inferred from the released teaser as we have been kept at bay completely from looking at the car.

The only thing that’s prominent in the short video is the Supra’s 3.0-litre engine that echoes in the mountain range. However, the earlier teaser does a better job at doing the same thing. We can understand the company’s motto behind the release and that is adding more and more excitement.

The earlier leaks and teasers have revealed a lot about the model already, from strong influences from the Toyota FT-1 concept to an exclusive design, which is similar to the BMW Z4 but distinctive at the same time. Both the cars share engine specifications, transmission and chassis.

The new 2020 Toyota Supra will feature the Z4’s 3.0-litre inline-six cylinder engine that churns out a max power of 387.2 PS and a peak torque of 500 Nm. Some tuning is expected though. We’ll need to wait until the official reveal happens at the 2019 NAIAS. Till then all we can do is wait. Stay tuned with us for exact information about the new A90 Toyota Supra.
