2019 Suzuki Jimny: Official images released
ABU DHABl: Images of the much-awaited Suzuki Jimny are officially released, ahead of its official unveiling scheduled on 5th July. The images reveal several vital information, but the details on the engine specifications are not available yet.
After almost two decades, this renowned off-roader from Suzuki is making people drool over with its official pictures surfacing on the global website. It is being speculated that Suzuki Jimny will be offered in two variants - a standard and a bigger. Both the variants might be available in three trims each, namely, XC, XL and XG.
From the design viewpoint, it seems that the new Jimny will feature a bit retro look. This rugged, compact SUV by Suzuki with amazing off-road capabilities features a macho look. One can spot in this 4th generation variant the iconic Jeep-like slats on the grille in the matte black finish along with the round headlamps. This SUV is believed to be one of the very few cars in the segment to bear the spare wheel on the tailgate. It might come designed with a new pair of either 16-inch or 15-inch five-spoke black alloy wheels
The 4th gen Jimny also features clamshell bonnet and tail lamps are positioned low on the rear bumper, much like the 2nd gen Jimny, better known as the Gypsy. The vehicle might be available in as many as eight colour options and three dual-tone options.
On the inside as well, this 2-door SUV is inspired by the Gypsy theme but it portrays some unique additions. The car features a double-pod instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system housed on top of the centre console. It is noteworthy that the 2019 Jimny has quite a few similarities with the new gen Swift, like the auto climate control, steering wheel, power window switches etc. Much revelation has not been published on what else one might get to witness in the inside cabin.
There is a probability that the automaker announces more important specifications when it officially unveils it in the coming month.
