The new flagship DBX S is based on the powerful DBX707, bringing enhanced power and sharper dynamics in a lightweight body. The technology is derived from the Valhalla supercar, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s pursuit of ultra-luxury SUV excellence.
High-performance Credentials
The SUV gets an upgraded 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, enhanced with larger compressor wheels and other tech, resulting in a power increase from 697 hp in the DBX707 to 717 hp. Paired with a 9-speed wet clutch transmission, the SUV dashes from 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds, clinching the top speed of 311 kmph.
The exhaust system has been revised which amplifies the already-impressive V8 soundtrack. The car has undergone significant weight-saving measures with a new carbon fibre roof reducing the weight by 18kg, which can be further reduced by 19 kg if optional magnesium wheels are chosen.
