British supercar maker Aston Martin has unveiled its most potent SUV to date. The new flagship DBX S is based on the powerful DBX707, bringing enhanced power and sharper dynamics in a lightweight body. The technology is derived from the Valhalla supercar, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s pursuit of ultra-luxury SUV excellence.

High-performance Credentials

The SUV gets an upgraded 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, enhanced with larger compressor wheels and other tech, resulting in a power increase from 697 hp in the DBX707 to 717 hp. Paired with a 9-speed wet clutch transmission, the SUV dashes from 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds, clinching the top speed of 311 kmph. 

The exhaust system has been revised which amplifies the already-impressive V8 soundtrack. The car has undergone significant weight-saving measures with a new carbon fibre roof reducing the weight by 18kg, which can be further reduced by 19 kg if optional magnesium wheels are chosen.

Striking Design

• The Aston Martin DBX S sports a distinctive visual identity with a solid black grille, wraparound DRLs and a new splitter.
• The side profile is characterized by aerodynamic sills, signature red ‘S’ insignia and carbon mirror caps.
• The back end is equally impressive with quad-stacked exhausts, optional carbon add-ons and a revised diffuser. Further, an optional lower livery gives it a sporty finish with a range of body paints available, including Trophy Silver, Rosso Corsa Red and Podium Green.

Rich Interiors

• The cabin gets a tailor-made ‘S’ theme, emphasized by a distinctive herringbone stitch design on the seats. The upholstery blends standard Alcantara trim and semi-aniline leather in high-wear areas, offering a luxurious and tactile experience. A full leather interior is also available for those seeking an even more opulent ambience.
• The SUV features subtle branding elements, including the 'S' logo sewed into the seats and also fixed on the treadplates and engine plaque. Moreover, the headrests have embossed and debossed Aston Martin wings, adding a touch of detail.
• In terms of information and entertainment, the DBX S gets the latest 10.25-inch infotainment system developed in-house. The car also features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster while the decibels are provided by a 14-speaker 800W sound system with an optional 1600W Bowers & Wilkins audio system for audiophiles.

Price and Availability in UAE 

The production of Aston DBX S is slated to commence soon with deliveries expected to start in Q4 2025. Expect the price in the UAE slightly more than the DBX707.
