Ford Bronco Raptor

The interior layout of the Ford Bronco Raptor is the same as the other versions of the Raptor, but to make it look and feel more special and luxurious, the cabin has been given a dual-tone black and grey theme with Black Onyx Marine Grade Vinyl upholstery. To make the cabin’s appearance more vibrant, the Bronco Raptor also gets upgraded Raptor graphics and code orange accents for the steering wheel, dashboard, seats and seat belts.

The cabin of the Ford Bronco Raptor gets a chunky-looking four-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, behind which it gets a modern full-TFT 12-inch instrument cluster sitting inside a binnacle. The upper layer of the dashboard, which has a full grey theme, gets a large touchscreen infotainment system with vertical AC vents to its sides, with the corners of the dashboard also having vertical AC vents.

The lower centre console gets physical old-school buttons for the dual-zone automatic climate control and buttons for the 7-speaker audio system. The Bronco Raptor is also offered with an optional Lux package, which adds more features to the cabin, such as B&O® Sound System with 10 speakers including a subwoofer, heated steering wheel, additional front-row smart-charging USB ports, wireless charging pad and Ford Co-Pilot360 technology.

In its standard version, the Ford Bronco already has a butch and old-school stance with its squarish looks. However, in this range-topping Raptor version, the Bronco's appearance and stance have become much more aggressive and intimidating.

The front profile of the Ford Bronco Raptor has a heavy-duty Ford Performance grille in an all-grey theme with bold Ford lettering in the middle of the fascia, which is flanked by unique Raptor-spec all-LED headlamps. Sitting within the corners of the wide blacked-out fascia, which stretches from end to end of the front’s width, the all-LED headlamps have dual-functioning rounded daytime running LEDs around the headlamps, along with an additional LED strip which stretches to the middle of the fascia.

To make it look more aggressive and allow it to glide over all possible road surfaces, the new Bronco Raptor has a heavy-duty modular front bumper with bash and skid plates, which give protection to the back of the engine, transmission and transfer case. The unique Raptor hood, with splash guards and bolt-on fender flares, gives the Bronco Raptor a tall and heightened stance.

Adding more aggression to the side profile are the huge 37-inch all-terrain tyres over 17-inch high-gloss aluminium alloy wheels, rock rails with removable running boards, B-pillar crossbar and C-pillar reinforcement. The Bronco also offers optional 17-inch Magnetic Low Gloss-Painted Beadlock-Capable Aluminum wheels and 17-inch Dark Carbonized Gray Beadlock-Capable Aluminum wheels.

The side door panels of the Ford Bronco Raptor are entirely removable, further making the SUV an absolute beast to conquer off-road terrains. At the rear, the Bronco Raptor has a reinforced swing gate, tailgate-mounted spare wheel and unique Raptor-spec squared LED tail lamps. The rear profile of the Bronco Raptor also has a rugged bumper with a toughened skid plate.

Multiple elements give the Ford Bronco Raptor the status of an impeccable off-road SUV. The first and most highlighted one among all of them is the terrain management system with G.O.A.T. modes, which includes seven driver-selectable modes. One of them is Baja mode, which has turbo anti-lag calibration which gives it the effortlessness to drive over loose sand surfaces of deserts.

Along with an advanced 4x4 system, the Bronco Raptor also gets Ford Performance-tuned Raptor High-Performance, Off-Road, Stability, Suspension (HOSS) 4.0 system featuring uniquely tuned FOX 3.1 Internal Bypass Semi-Active Dampers with integrated reservoirs up front and remote in rear. The SUV also gets Ford Performance-developed axles – Dana 44 AdvanTEK® front-drive unit and a semi-float Dana 50 Heavy-Duty AdvanTEK rear axle – for even more capability over off-road terrains.

The Ford Bronco Raptor is powered by one of the most powerful V6 engines ever developed by Ford – a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine, which is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Exclusively tuned by Ford Performance, the engine develops 418 bhp of maximum power and 598 Nm of maximum torque. The powertrain of the new Bronco Raptor also has a dual exhaust system with active valve technology, the aural output of which can be altered through four selectable exhaust modes – normal, sport, quiet and Baja.

Along with all the essential safety features like airbags all around, traction control, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree parking camera and electronic stability control, the Ford Bronco Raptor also gets driver assist safety functions like automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert and pre-collision assist.
