Cabin

The cabin feels premium and has a distinctive design. But what catches your attention immediately is the 33-inch diagonal LED display that is nicely fitted on the dashboard, a huge screen for a performance sedan that you could come across these days. • The twin-turbo V6 is quiet, composed, and entirely anonymous in slow traffic, only revealing its character when the road opens up.

• The Blackwing makes its presence felt before moving; the supercharger whine at idle outside a Jumeirah coffee shop is enough to turn heads on its own.

Highway Performance

• Merge onto Sheikh Zayed Road, and the standard CT5-V finds its natural pace immediately: settled, fast, and in no hurry to prove anything.
• The Blackwing covers the same stretch differently; the gap closes faster, the move feels more forceful, and the engine note is harder to ignore.
• Both cruise quietly once up to speed; wind noise is well contained, on either car at typical UAE highway limits.
• The Blackwing develops a faint whistle from its aero additions beyond 160 km/h; the standard variant never reaches that situation in daily use.
• As you can expect, the V8 fuel consumption rises sharply the more the performance gets used; a longer run toward Al Ain makes that visible on the gauge.

Ride and Handling

• When you settle into the seat, the first thing that registers is how planted the CT5-V feels, steering weighted enough to feel connected without asking for effort.
• It handles UAE roads with a composed firmness that feels deliberate rather than harsh; bumps land with a thud rather than a crash.
• Through a proper corner the front follows the steering line accurately, and body roll is controlled without the car feeling rigid; it moves like something that has been thought about.
