The rotary air-conditioning vents evolved from the older-generation CLAs, are particularly impressive and come with ambient lighting. They are electrically adjustable. Space on the rear seat is really generous with enough legroom and headroom. The 2,729 mm-long wheelbase helps in this regard. Since the roofline's height is taller, it doesn't compromise on the rear seat space despite the sloping-down nature. But the seating position is a bit lower and passengers have to sit knee-up. That's somewhat tiring for long trips. The suspension is nicely balanced and absorbs most bumps and thuds. There is a bit of body roll but it never upsets the comfort.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan is hauled by a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 1.3-litre petrol engine that produces 1163 PS/250 Nm. The motor is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The handling is agile and the city performance of the A-Class Sedan is superb. The engine is refined and the transmission works seamlessly. The multiple driving modes further help in a relaxed drive.
