Alfa Romeo Giulia

There are five different upholstery options to choose from in the Alfa Romeo Giulia. The base variant of the car is offered with the choices of black cloth or three leather choices of white, brown or red. Then comes the Super and Veloce variants, available in full-black, red with black, beige with black and tobacco brown with black leather upholstery options. The Veloce Ti variant can be had with a full-black Alcantara leather upholstery for a sportier feel on the inside.

The cabin layout might not look as edgy and futuristic as the interior of other cars in its segment. But the driver-focused cabin of the Alfa Romeo Giulia looks classy and a bit old-school, appealing to the hearts of driving enthusiasts. The Alfa Romeo Giulia comes with a dual-pod instrument console with pop-out analogue gauges and a TFT MID in between them. The Giulia has a layered theme for the upper dashboard, which houses an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the middle.

While the middle of the centre console has traditional round-themed controls for the automatic climate control and AC vents above them, the lower centre console looks nicely furnished, while housing the transmission lever, drive mode dial and other switches. The Giulia is well-equipped with additional features like ambient lighting, powered and heated front seats, a wireless charger, a sunroof and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

Alfa Romeo has kept the design of the Giulia simple and minimalist on the side, with the sedan having different options of alloy wheels for different variants. The uprising character line emerging from the front fender and rising towards the rear door panel gives Giulia an athletic character.

The rear profile of the Alfa Romeo Giulia has a hunkered-down and sporty stance, the most prominent highlight of which is the integrated boot spoiler and sleek-looking LED combination tail lamps, which are stretched horizontally towards the rear fender. The Giulia comes with dual exhaust setups with chrome surrounds.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is one of the most engaging sedans in its category. It gets an all-aluminium link suspension system featuring a double wishbone system with a semi-virtual steering axis at the front and a multi-link system with four and a half links at the rear. The Alfa Romeo Giulia also comes with a drive mode DNA selector for switching between comfort-oriented setups to a stiffer setup for a sportier and more engaging driving experience.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is available in two states of tune. In the lower-spec variants, this engine produces 200 PS of power and 330 Nm of torque, while in the top-end variants, it claims 280 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. All the variants come standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and while it comes with a rear-wheel drive system as standard, the range-topping variants can also be had with an all-wheel drive configuration.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is well-kitted in terms of safety, with the sedan getting a host of features like front and rear parking sensors, rear camera, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring system and airbags all around.
