Mercedes Benz E Class is available in a total number of 20 variants and 4 trim levels namely sedan, coupe, cabriolet and estate. These variants are powered by 4 powerful petrol engines of capacity 2.0 liter, 3.0 litre, 3.5 litre, 4.6 litre and 5.5 litre and 2 diesel engines of capacity 2.1 litre and 3.0 litre. The maximum power delivered across all the variants ranges from 136 hp at 2800-4600 rpm to 585 hp at 5500 rpm and the peak torque reached ranges from 270 Nm at 1200-4000 rpm to 800 Nm at 1750-5000 rpm. The optimized direct injection system and the advanced turbochargers work in harmonics with a highly refined combustion process which reduces fuel consumption and also curbs exhaust emission. With the new Mercedes Benz E63 AMG, you won't mind being Schumacher on road. The car dispatch 0-100 km/hr in mere 3.6 seconds and can clock a top speed of 250 km/hr. When it comes to fuel economy, the car doesn't disappoint. The 3.0 litre petrol engine can give a mileage of 14.2 kmpl which is not at all disappointing.
