Engine and Performance

The BYD Denza N9 engine is supported by three electric motors, as the SUV features a plug-in hybrid system. The 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine produces 204 horsepower and 325 Nm of torque. The front electric motor makes 268 horses and 315 Nm. 

The two rear motors make 322 horsepower and 360 Nm on each wheel, resulting in a combined power output of 1,116 horsepower from the hybrid powertrain. This makes the SUV accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds.

The Denza N9 offers a 202km of pure electric range and a combined hybrid range of 1,302km. The battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 19 minutes using a fast charger.

Safety

It has 9 airbags as standard. It comes with a DiPilot 300 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), along with multiple radar and lidar safety systems. BYD has also equipped the Denza N9 with 14 cameras, automatic parking assistance, remote control parking, emergency lane keep assist, a blindspot monitoring system, and an automatic emergency braking system (up to 110 kmph).

The Denza N9 has a feature-rich cabin that is equipped with a 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 50-inch head-up display (HUD) for the driver. It gets a 17.3-inch floating touchscreen display at the center, a 13.2-inch display for the passenger, and a 17.3-inch display at the rear. 

The Denza N9 also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and the multimedia system is connected to a 26-speaker Devialet sound system.
