Toyota bZ4X EV launching in Australia in February 2024

ABU DHABI: Toyota is all set to debut its fully electric SUV, the bZ4X in February 2024 in Australia offering Australian consumers an emission-free driving experience. 

Toyota is a leader when it comes to making cars with hybrid technology but now it has expanded its footprint in Australia in the electric vehicle market. The bZ4X represents the commitment of Toyota to meeting the Australian consumers' evolving demands towards eco-friendly mobility solutions.

The buyers of the Toyota bZ4X can expect top-tier batteries, benefiting from the global expertise of the company. Toyota has produced over 20 million batteries for hybrid vehicles so you can expect the bZ4X to have exceptional performance, reliability, and safety. Each battery is put through rigorous testing before installing it in the vehicle. 

The bZ4X sold in Australia will have an updated system with Auto mode to optimize the power usage for an extended driving range. The seven-inch multi-information display provides information about the estimated battery recharging time.

The Australian bZ4X will be available in two powertrain choices- dual motor AWD and single motor FWD equipped with a 71.4-kilowatt-hour battery. It comes with standard features such as LED lights, premium sports seats, 20-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance, and a 12.3-inch multimedia system.

The AWD Australia-spec bZ4X comes with many premium features such as roof rails, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic roof and off-tarmac drive modes. 

Toyota will reveal more information about this fully electric SUV during the launch.
