Stylish and affordable MG ZS Crossover goes on sale in the Middle East

Abu Dhabi: MG introduced its new crossover to the Middle Eastern crowd for the first time at the December held Saudi International Motor Show. The new crossover seemed to grab headlines at the show for its impressive interior-exterior profile along with a relatively affordable price tag.

Now, after close to a month's wait the new MG crossover is available at all company dealerships operating across the Middle East. Before going into an in-depth analysis of the new crossover, here are a few key points -

The MG new crossover marks the implementation of a new, revolutionized designed philosophy called ‘Emotional Dynamics’. The said design template focuses on giving customers a premium experience along with high-quality commitment.

Managing Director SAIC Motor Middle East, Mr. Tom Lee, told that the new MG ZS is tailored to fit the needs of the young generation and female clients across the region. He further said that the car is infused with a new design language that makes it ‘a very strong entrant’ in the UAE SUV arena. Mr. Tom added that MG efforts replicated in ZS new philosophy will help spread the message that MG is a key player in the international automotive field.

Taking a close look at MG’s new design language, the exterior gets a dynamic look accompanied with a distinctive grille, enlarged MG branding, sweeping corners, and a robust rear. Like the outer profile, ZS's interior continues to display MG’s exceptional design and quality commitment. On the inside, ZS showcases high-quality coverage with soft material resting on more than 80 percent of its exposed area.

On the tech-front ZS offers an 8-inch MG inkaLink infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and from now on will be a signature offering in all MG models.

As for the under hood configuration, MG has fitted its new crossover with next-generation 1.5-litre NSE Major engine, producing a maximum output of 120 PS along with a peak torque of 150 Nm.

With standard features like keyless start, height-adjust steering wheel, ABS, ESP, EBD, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ZS crossover offers a lot under its affordable price tag.

However, you can go for higher trims and catch-hold some fantastic features, in case you don’t mind sending a few extra bucks.
