Nissan’s beloved MICRA hatchback is back in all-electric form for 2025, and that marks a major leap for the long-standing nameplate.

This sixth-generation MICRA, with more than 40 years of history, enters a new era as it is fully electric, smarter, and packed with tech for daily city life. Nissan MICRA EV, which is preparing for its European launch, stands out as a compact, stylish option perfect for the growing electric vehicle market in Dubai.

Compact and Bold by Design

The MICRA EV, which is designed by Nissan’s European team in London, takes a bold new turn with strong lines, a wide stance, and SUV-inspired confidence. At just under four metres, it keeps compact dimensions for tight UAE streets while still offering road presence with 18-inch wheels and 14 unique two-tone paint combinations.

To add charm to its street appeal, there's the welcome and farewell headlight animations, which gives it personality before it even starts moving.

Smart Interior with Japanese Touches

The inside of the MICRA shows that Nissan paid attention to comfort and culture. The cabin, which is inspired by Japanese design, includes subtle touches like Mount Fuji embossed into the centre console.

There's the dual 10.1-inch displays to handle driver info and entertainment, while interior themes like Modern, Audacious, and Chill, allow owners to express their own style. Even with the small size, the  MICRA’s boot offers 326 litres of space, outdoing many rivals in its class.

The MICRA EV delivers strong range and quick charging convenience, be it for daily commutes or longer drives across Emirates. The V2L adds extra flexibility, which let's users charge devices or power tools straight from the car.

The MICRA EV, which weighs between 1400 and 1524 kg is built on the new AmpR EV platform, meaning it is more agile.

It can easily handle urban traffic and tight corners with its instant torque, smooth handling, and a low centre of gravity. Drivers will always feel fun and humble be it that they're zipping through city lanes or squeezing into parking spaces.

Tech-Savvy and Safe

The MICRA EV, with Google built-in, keeps drivers connected on the go. Everything is within easy reach, from real-time maps to voice controls and media. The NissanConnect app adds more convenience, letting owners to remotely check battery status, adjust cabin climate, and manage charging.

There's also a boost in safety with ProPilot Assist and features like lane-keeping, adaptive cruise, and emergency braking for peace of mind on every trip.
