Lotus collaborates with Mobilize and Bosch for EV expansion

ABU DHABI: Geely-owned British carmaker Lotus has announced two new pan-European EV charging partnerships with Renault-backed Mobilize and Bosch to extend its support to the rapidly growing number of customers who are taking delivery of its EVs. 

Lotus has recognized that the main barrier to EV adoption is limited charging infrastructure. To address this issue it is collaborating with Bosch for public charging and for home charging it is partnering with Mobilize Power. 

With this collaboration Lotus aims to simplify the ownership of electric vehicles, making the electrification transition easier. Lotus has assured customers of increased confidence through access to an extensive network of Bosch across 30 European countries with over 600,000 charging stations. 

Lotus electric vehicle owners can get easy access to charging stations with a Lotus smartphone app and Charging Card. Addressing the issues of around 44% of potential EV buyers, Lotus has partnered with Bosch to improve access to charging infrastructure in Europe. Its collaboration with Mobilize will help in offering customers a home charging package. 

These partnerships will make it convenient for the Lotus EV owners to charge their electric cars. Lotus aims to offer better charging options by teaming up with Mobilize and Bosch, ensuring that their electric vehicles growing range, including the Eletre EV, has accessible charging infrastructure. This effort showcases the commitment of Lotus to supporting electric vehicle users.
