GWM Tank 500 showcased at Auto Shanghai 2023

ABU DHABI:  The GWM Tank 500 gets displayed at Auto Shanghai 2023. It will soon make its way to the Malaysian market and delight auto enthusiasts with its awesome features. This rugged SUV can be the perfect choice for off-road enthusiasts and thrill seekers. It is well-suited for both off-road and urban adventures. 

GWM Tank 500 offers the luxury of a high-end SUV and the utilitarian use of a workhorse. It is 5,070 mm long, 1,905 mm tall, and 1,934 mm wide. It will be available in six variants and compete against the Toyota Land Cruiser. 

The GWM Tank 500 has a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine paired with an all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission. There is also the choice of a turbo-petrol hybrid and four-cylinder diesel power. It also features GWM’s Hi4T 4WD system and is available in part-time 4WD and ‘smart’ 4WD modes.

Customers can choose the Tank 500 in five interior hues. Lots of chrome has been used in Tank 500’s exterior. The rear of the Tank 500 gives an elegant and rugged feel. Some of the standard exterior features include front LED fog lamps, automatic LED headlights, door sill plate lamps, and LED daytime running lights. 

The interior is premium and spacious and comes with various advanced features, such as a heated leather steering wheel, a wireless mobile phone charger, and a 12-speaker sound system. Features that you can get as options include a remote parking function, leather roof linings, lane tracking reversing, digital rearview mirror, and automatic parking function. 

GMW has not revealed anything about the launch of the Tank 500 in the UAE.
