Defender 110 Trophy Edition Revealed – Pays Tribute to Original Camel Trophy

Abu Dhabi : Land Rover has also announced an international off-roading contest called the Defender Trophy.
- The Defender 110 Trophy features new color options, 20-inch black alloy wheels, trophy decals and off-roading protective equipment.
- The interiors boast illuminated sill plates with Trophy imprinting and Ebony Windsor leather seats.
- The final race of the Defender's conservation partner, Tusk Africa, is set for 2026.
The Land Rover Defender 110 now comes in a new Trophy Edition, celebrating its ties to the classic Camel Trophy vehicles. This special version features a range of new off-road accessories and two unique paint colours, giving it a rugged, adventure-ready look.
Along with this, the brand has launched the Defender Trophy challenge, an international off-road event inspired by the historic Camel Trophy and Challenge adventures. The maker says this model stands for adventure, appealing to a new generation of fans.

Exterior Styling
The standout feature of the new Trophy Edition is its outside paint colours, inspired by its heritage. It features Deep Sandglow Yellow, a shade linked to Land Rover’s participation in tough international Trophy-style events. The other colour, Keswick Green, is meant to honour the UK’s rural areas and outdoor adventures.
The vehicle also sports a black contrast finish on the roof, bonnet, wheel arches, front and rear scuff plates, and side cladding. Trophy decals are added to the bonnet and the C-pillar for extra sportiness. The wheels have been upgraded to 20-inch gloss-black alloys, fitted with all-terrain tyres.
Buyers can also opt for a matte protective film that covers the Defender 110 Trophy in either of the two colours.
Interiors
Inside, the Defender 110 Trophy features illuminated sill plates with Trophy branding and new Ebony Windsor leather seats. The dashboard's exposed crossbeam matches the exterior paint colour and features laser-etched endcaps that also display Trophy branding.
The Defender 110 Trophy Edition is similar to the limited-run Defender Works V8 Trophy, which Land Rover Classic launched in 2021. However, the company has not said if this new version will be a limited edition.

Accessories
For better off-road performance, there are optional accessories available. An Expedition Roof Rack adds extra space for storing gear on long trips. A Black Deployable Roof Ladder makes it easier to reach items stored above. A Gloss Black Side-Mounted Gear Carrier offers more room for wet, muddy, or sandy gear.
The set also includes Front and Rear Classic Mud Flaps to protect the vehicle. Additionally, a Raised Air Intake helps filter dust, keeping the engine clean during dusty rides.
Defender Trophy Adventure Competition
The Defender Trophy is an international off-road challenge open to participants from over 50 countries. Local qualifiers will take place soon, leading up to the national finals in early 2026. The best competitors from these events will compete in the global final, which will be held in Africa late next year.
Winners will have a rare chance to go on an exciting off-road adventure across Africa with Defender’s conservation partner, Tusk. The entire journey will be watched by a global online audience. The competition will test participants’ driving skills, physical fitness, and creative thinking.

To join, entrants must live in a country taking part, be over 23 years old, know how to swim 50 metres, hold a valid driver’s licence, be able to travel internationally, and speak fluent English. Details about the final’s special format will be shared later. The event will also be streamed online for audiences around the world.
The original Camel Trophy was held every year from 1980 to 1998. During the race, teams drove modified Land Rovers across some of the toughest terrain on Earth. They took part in different challenges, like timed rally stages, winching tests, and navigation courses.
Pricing
The new Defender 110 Trophy Edition is now open for orders. The starting price is £89,810 (on the road) in the UK.
