Another key aspect of a comfortable cabin, and here, the tri-zone climate control (standard on higher trims) helps keep the cabin cool for the driver, front passenger, and rear seats, with separate vents. During our test, it turned out the AC is quite powerful and the cabin gets cool in no time. 

Storage Options

Given a three-row SUV, the cabin is spacious, which also means plenty of space to carry our stuff around. At the front, the bigger size glovebox is good for keeping your documents and other big items. The access is super easy and opens rather quickly. Then door pockets for 1-litre bottles, a centre console with cupholders, and a rear armrest with storage are other spaces enough for family stuff. 

Armrest

Front and rear armrests with cupholders provide convenience during long drives and are comfortable to use with their larger size. The front armrest is padded and well-placed with enough space for relaxing during a drive; the rear is a little smaller but does the job.

Charging Options

Keeping your devices charged is taken care of by two USB-C ports on the front, two on the back, a 12V socket, and an optional wireless charging pad. At the rear, USB ports for the passengers.

Boot Space

Being a full-size, three-row SUV, what you get in the Teramont is generous space. The same is true with the boot, which measures 583 litres behind the third row, which appears to be right for a car of this size. And, you have the option of flattening the floor by folding the second and third row; in that case, the boots turn into a massive 1,571 litres of space. The exterior can be summarised as bold, larger and contemporary styling. The new updates boost the SUV's premium image, largely due to the sharper, more sculpted design language adopted by Volkswagen designers.

Not much as far as the size profile, other than to say that it matches the overall design or exterior profile of the SUV. However, what is indisputable about the Teramont, with its size, it comes across as a big SUV, but at the same time, impresses with its ability to handle city traffic.

City Performance

The Teramont’s 2.0L TSI engine is smooth and quite efficient for city driving. Navigating city traffic, narrow lanes or congestion won’t be a big problem. And, the reasonably good mileage between 8-9 km/L is something most buyers will like about this big SUV.

Highway Performance

2.0L TSI Trendline AT
