Toyota Yaris Hatchback 1.3L SE

I wanted to buy a compact car for day to day commute, and a Toyota car seemed like a reliable pick. After test driving the Yaris hatch for a few times, I was convinced that it is the one I see myself driving. The car is a complete package, it is affordable and is low on maintenance as well. Like all the Toyota cars, it offers excellent ride and handling and has a silent and comfortable cabin. I personally love the acoustic vibration glass and solar absorbing glass. Also, the car is loaded with utility features like the push start button, tire pressure monitoring system, split-folding rear seat, and more.

When our daughter turned 18, it was time for my wife and I to purchase a car for her and we were both agreed on the fact that we wanted to purchase a hatchback since it was her first ride! Both of us love Toyota as a brand and the new Yaris hatchback was the cheapest product of theirs that we could afford with our budget. The exterior is lovely and our daughter was excited to get her hands on her new ride! The features are extremely fancy and great for the price it is sold at. It is an extremely practical and affordable choice which is safe as well since this hatchback comes equipped with all safety features. Moreover, it has a great fuel economy and gives great mileage and the ride is extremely comfortable since this lightweight car is a dream to handle. While there might be a few issues with the hatch, this is definitely one of the best options one can go for in this segment.

The Yaris has been a compact and constant companion to our family. My wife drives it and my daughter is also comfortable using this as her first car. She will shortly be taking driving lessons from me on this. She feels that she can see the edge of the bonnet easily in this car and it helps while she is trying to park the car.. Thankfully it has worked as the car still doesn’t have any scratches on it. Heheh! The design is also cute and there is enough space inside the cabin. However, I hope that this car gives better pickup. It is tuned more for efficiency and you can feel it on the highway. It needs more power. I will perhaps tune it for more power. Once my daughter is done practising her skills.

We bought the Yaris in 2016. We were on a tight budget and wanted a small cheap to run car that suited our family. This was around the cheapest cars in the market at the time and we are happy to say that we bought it. There are indeed some areas where we are not happy with the car but this is a good buy for the price and we will happily recommend it to anyone. The looks of the car are very good from the outside. The grille and the entire front end looks very powerful. There is a lot of space inside. The car is very lightweight and drives like it is very lightweight. It is very easy to get into tight parking spots as the turning radius is very small. But the engine is not that great. Since then I’ve ridden in other similar cars and feel that interior in those cars is better. But overall I’m still happy with our car.
