Renault Talisman

The 2019 Renault Talisman executive sedan is available in a single SE variant at a price point of AED 69,900 (including VAT), with a single petrol engine linked to a CVT gearbox. The Talisman range is offered in eight colour options-Metallic grey, solid white, universe white, ultra-silver, Meissen blue, mineral beige, metallic black, and crimson red. Measuring 4,848 mm long, the 2019 Renault Talisman is a large premium sedan that sits on a 2,809 mm long wheelbase, translating into a spacious cabin with ample room for five adults. The talking point of the Talisman sedan is its modish design, highlighted by sharp elements and bold lines. 

Sporting commanding looks, it has a bold face with a multi-slat chrome finished grille in front, featuring Renault logo in the centre. The wide grille extends to the c-shaped daytime running lights integrated into the sleek headlamps. Lower down on the bumper, it gets chrome-accented air-intakes with fog lamps tucked in chrome finished housing at each corner. Sides are marked by large 17-inch multi-spoke silver alloy wheels sporting aluminium rims and window line with chrome lining on top. Door handles are painted in body colour and it also equips power-folding door mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators. The rear has been crafted with perfection for a striking look. It has large exhausts on either end, while the LED-fitted tail-lamps covering a large part of the boot lid steal the limelight. For a sportier look, it features a contrasting black roof. 

Insides of the Renault Talisman are crafted to ensure comfort for the occupants. Sitting on a long wheelbase it carves out enough room in front and at the back. The sedan has multiple storage points and cubby holes for storage within the cabin that are positioned within the reach of occupants. Keeping comfort at fore, Renault has equipped a slew of features such as ventilated, air-conditioned seats with massage function for an unforgettable experience. A 7-ich touchscreen multimedia system with 3D sound by Arkamys is layered inside which also gets USB sockets, Aux-in, voice control, SMS to speech, text to speech functions, 8-speakers, navigation system and an optional CD player. Also, steering mounted audio controls, voice command, armrests at front and centre, an automatic dual zone air conditioning with humidity control, air-vents for rear seats, etc. are offered as standard. 

Power source on the Renault Talisman is an Energy Tce 190 petrol engine, compliant with Euro V emissions. The four-cylinder turbo petrol unit develops maximum power of 140 kW against 260 Nm of torque at 2,500 rpm. It is benefitted by the stop & start energy smart management. A seven-speed dual-clutch EDC automatic gearbox sends power to the front wheels. Both the ends are fitted with ventilated disc brakes for retarding speed. Besides, it gets a long list of safety features such as anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce and brake assist, electronic stability program, hill start assist, ISOFIX mounts, automatic central locking when in motion, multiple airbags, individual tyre pressure monitoring, , L-shaped height adjustable rear side headrests with integrated central headrest, advanced traction controls and several others.
