When I got a chance to try out the Hongqi E-HS9 during an event sponsored by the dealer, I was astonished by its huge dimensions. It attracted attention with its imposing presence and striking exterior design. The seats felt first-class and the cabin was very roomy and comfortable. Even when loaded with various attendees it handled the weight with ease. The ride was really smooth, navigating bumpy roads and curves with ease. The battery's efficiency was remarkable throughout the test drive, despite its substantial size. The luxury factor was enhanced by the quiet interior and easy-to-use controls.

When I first saw this Hongqi car this captivated me with its appearance. This is surely a visual treat to come across such models. Yet the quality of the materials that are installed are not able to meet the expectations of the car buyers. Say if I mention the quilted seats, there I could sense the presence of synthetic at some parts. Even the center console cubbyhole padding could have been slightly thicker. The dashboard is totally being dominated by the screens. If you are opting for its top trim level you can get hold of six seats.

The Hongqi E-HS9 SUV can go 311 miles on a single charge - and that really impressed me the most. After driving the car for three months, it would be right to say that its advanced driving modes and air suspension offer a comfortable and smooth ride. It looks like a Rolls Royce or a Bentley and feels a lot like their cousin. It has a lot of premium features as well. A lot of people asked me not to buy it since the brand is less common here, but I don’t regret my decision of buying it at all.

The Car looks Massive. Absolutely, but the quality is really poor. The metal of the hood is very thin and is changing shape with a light finger push. Inside the car feels more like plastic than leather - talking about the exclusive model with top materials. The media system is a mere disaster. The sound corresponds to a $39 Walmart speaker. It is difficult to find in the menu. The car itself makes strange noises. The massage chairs sounds too much, so does the blinking sound - and the blinker doesn’t blink in pace, and it has a strange sound. The power does not feel like 550hp, my former X7 was better in every detail and had a much greater power, even though it was an x30. The car is comfy and spacious, but extremely overpriced. I really regret buying it
