Frontal Crash Test Results Impress

The TIGGO 9 underwent a 50 km/h full-frontal crash test against a rigid barrier at Chery’s advanced safety lab in China, replicating one of the most dangerous types of real-world collisions.

The vehicle showed no structural failure, with its A-pillars and door zones intact. The restraint systems functioned flawlessly, and the crash test dummies suffered no critical injuries, which underscored the superior cabin protection of the SUV.

Multi-Angle Crash Performance

Previous testing had already placed the TIGGO 9 in elite safety territory. In the Euro NCAP mobile progressive deformable barrier (MPDB) and side impact tests, conducted at 50 and 60 km/h respectively, the SUV showed outstanding structural response and levels of passenger safety. These combined results contribute to its five-star safety credentials.
