Nissan introduces the Ariya Nismo in Japan

ABU DHABI: Nissan recently launched the Ariya Nismo at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024. It offers a sportier design, increased power, and looks more aggressive than the existing BEV lineup of Nissan. Currently, it is available in Japan in two variants, the B9 e-4ORCE and B6 e-4ORCE.

The exterior of the Ariya Nismo comes with aerodynamic enhancements for improved visual appeal and performance. The Nismo-tuned e-4ORCE contributes to sporty driving dynamics, superior grip, and upgraded suspension systems and chassis offering enhanced handling. 

For its bodywork, the Ariya Nismo offers six color options, including the NISMO Stealth Gray which comes along with a black roof.

Amongst the two variants, the B6 e-4ORCE with a 66 kWh battery generates around 367 PS and 560 Nm, and the B9 e-4ORCE which is equipped with a 91 kWh battery produces 435 PS and 600 Nm. It also comes with a Nismo driving mode for improved responsiveness and acceleration. The artificial noise that the Ariya Nismo produces is similar to Formula E race cars.

The Nismo Ariya comes with premium features like finely tuned aluminium wheels for ideal cornering prowess and aerodynamics and high-performance brake pads for more than enough stopping power.

The sale of the Ariya Nismo will currently be limited to the Japanese market. Its sales are expected to start in June. Nissan has not revealed anything about the launch of this model in the UAE.
