Mitsubishi opens new SUV bookings in Indonesia; will debut on August 10

ABU DHABI: Mitsubishi announced a month ago that it would introduce a new compact SUV at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show this August. It has now opened its pre-booking in Indonesia. 

The new model is believed to be the Mitsubishi XFC Concept's production version that was previewed last year. As per the press material, "the all-new model features a stylish yet robust, authentic SUV styling, as well as practicality such as ease of handling and versatile storage spaces, and comfort including a spacious cabin."

The Japanese automaker has not revealed anything about the SUV's interior design. Till now, we only know that it will have a "Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium'' audio system. The audio system comprises Yamaha tweeters and Coaxial 2-way speakers for a concert-like immersive sound experience.

Besides its new design, the production counterpart of the XFC Concept is known to offer good visibility with spacious cabin space and a minimalist dashboard layout.

The President Director of PT MMKSI declined to elaborate on the production vehicle's name. He told that the design and shape of the new SUV won't differ much between the production and concept models. The rear-end design of the new SUV is similar to the production vehicle.

Ahead of its official debut, the Director of Sales and Marketing Division at MMKSI, Irwan Kuncoro, told that customers can place their orders for the all-new compact SUV at Mitsubishi dealerships in Indonesia.
