ABU DHABI: The Rolls Royce Sweptail has been the most expensive car in the world for quite some time now and with a price tag of $13 million, it is still extremely expensive. However, it is now no longer the most expensive car as the limited edition Pagani costs an insane $17.5 million.

Yes, the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is what could cost a fortune for many. And the limited edition looks like something more than limited as only three units would be made in a lifetime. However, one of the first three belongs to the man who has been the face behind the company, Mr Horacio Pagani, the founder.

Having said that, you cannot grab hold of one of the remaining two units even if you wanted to as it has already been booked before they were out of the factory.

The Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is nothing short of a stunner and a sensation of a kind. It is everything that you could think of a sports car to be, aerodynamic, fierce, and breath-taking. It is relatively lighter than many sports supercars with the body weight of just 1,250-kilograms.

And there is one more aspect that certainly makes it cool. It does not have a hard roof. But instead, it has the wraparound windshield on the sides, which is something that is not seen before.

Moreover, powering the wonderful devil is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 engine which is sourced from AMG. It manages to make a whopping 789 PS of power and 1,000 Nm of torque. And as a matter of fact, the entire power is sent down to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual unit.

Yes, you read it right. Pagani decided to go the conventional way instead of taking the modern route. It can hit a top speed of 350 kmph besides hitting the 0-100 kmph acceleration in just three seconds.
