Hyundai Ioniq 5 N makes its world premiere at Goodwood Festival of Speed

ABU DHABI: The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N made its world premiere on July 13 at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It's N brand's first electrified model that aims to accelerate the electrification future of the company. 

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N features dual electric motors. With N Grin Boost, engaged dual electric motors can provide up to 478 kW / 650 PS. The power can be temporarily increased to 10 seconds with the N Grin Boost function engaged. 

The Ioniq 5 N takes forward three core highlights of N performance. It combines an everyday sporty feel, the thrill of agile cornering, and the ability to perform on a racetrack with the help of the use of motorsport-inspired technologies.

The e-Shift programming is a unique feature in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. It provides simulated gearshifts, mimicking the feel of an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. There are also paddle shifters similar to the ones present in gas-powered cars.

The Ioniq 5 N's thermal management in racetrack conditions is phenomenal. The car can resist heat-induced power degradation much better than its competitors leading to less loss of power due to overheating.

The N Active Sound + further enhances the driving experience by offering three distinct sound themes. The N e-shift function, on the other hand, offers greater driver feedback and better control of Ioniq 5 N's dynamic driving.

As the N brand appears at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Ioniq 5 N will be the prime attraction. During the iconic Goodwood hill climb event to be organized during the festival, the N brand will have a special "N Moment." 

At the event, the N brand has built a dedicated stand showcasing various vehicles, including N Vision 74, RN22e, i20 N WRC, and the newly unveiled Ioniq 5 N.
