ABU DHABI: Electric vehicles struggle in sub-zero temperatures as they rely on chemical reactions to generate electricity. EV owners often face issues like sluggishness and range loss while driving their cars in cold temperatures. Hyundai didn't want to take a chance on this aspect and hence decided to double-check the upcoming IONIQ 5 N's cold weather performance. The Ioniq 5 N was put through rigorous winter testing at the Hyundai Mobis Proving Ground in Sweden to test its sustainability in extreme sub-zero conditions.

    Hyundai Ioniq 5 N

    The 2023  Ioniq 5 N has been integrated with Hyundai's Electrified-Global Modular Platform and cutting-edge motorsport technologies. This has led to the production of an electrified high-performance vehicle that offers year-round performance for driving enthusiasts. 

    IONIQ 5 N is deemed to be the first N-brand production featuring an all-wheel drive. It will debut in July 2023 as the first high-performance mass-production EV offered by the N brand. With this car, Hyundai is all set to accelerate its electrification future. There is no information on whether IONIQ 5 N will be available in the UAE.
