BYD Seal 2026 UAE Deliveries Review

The BYD Seal arrived in the UAE at the beginning of 2024 and has been making quite an impression since deliveries began through the brand's official distributors, Al-Futtaim. Starting at AED 149,900, this all-electric sedan takes on the Tesla Model 3's leadership with not just an aggressive price but also exceptional specs. This is relevant for a brand that's still relatively new to many UAE buyers.

How It Stacks Up

The Seal's main rival is obviously the Tesla Model 3, which costs more, starting at around AED 184,900. Tesla, though, has stronger brand recognition and a more established charging network, but the BYD is significantly lower in price with nearly identical features and technologies.There are other options like the Hyundai Ioniq 6 and Polestar 2, but they come at a higher price. Undoubtedly, the Seal really scores well in its overall value proposition, with a promise of performance and range for a more competitive price than most rivals. 

Should You Consider It?

Anyone genuinely interested in their first premium EV experience at a reasonable price can consider the Seal. You don’t have to spend big money to get the Tesla experience, because this BYD offers equally exciting performance, strong range, and a premium cabin. The early buyers have clearly underlined the Seal's strengths, including being solid, spacious, and enjoyable to drive. For daily commuting, the comfort and quick torque make it delightful. The BYD Seal certainly promises something special, and it mostly delivers on its promise of affordable electric performance. Owners agree that it is a strong, well-built sedan that can compete with the best.
