Just got Suzuki Swift 2024 from official dealer in Dubai. I love small but fast cars. So, forget about "fast". ?‍♀️ This lovely car start beeping on the 120 km/h and NEVER stops until speeds goes down. It's soooo disaster and killing all the mood of driving on a highway. I visited service center and they generously agreed to remove this crazy sound, but only along with a lot of other really useful warnings ??? The rest is OK, normal small car. Good on the road, has cruise control, but no line keeper. Quite big screen. Connecting to the phone by Bluetooth. I am still checking other features, but perspective of driving below 120 for the next 5 years or next 100 000 km (I bought a service plan also) has really killed all the joy from the new car. ? Disappointing.

Suzuki Swift is a five-seater hatchback that makes it the best family car I could ever get for this price range. The overall packaging of this car is very modest and decent which makes it a very lightweight car and easy to drive. I am very happy with what I have got under the roof. The dimensions of the car are pretty much convincing for the roads of UAE and keep it ready for venturing out on city roads or a little bit of off-roading. I love this Hatchback and how it has turned out to be outside the showrooms.

Before shifting to UAE from India, I had owned the Suzuki Swift in the subcontinent, and the new generation model that I now own here in UAE do give me a sense of familiarity. However, thanks to all the significant changes yet staying true to he original Swift’s design ethos, I do appreciate Suzuki’s efforts for the evolutionary design of the new Swift in and out. Despite having a lot of changes, it still feels very Swift-like, particularly its silhouette. The two door design theme, with he rear door handles recessed in the D-pillars, indeed is a nice sporty touch, and so are the LED projector headlamps. I have always been a fan of the driving experience of the original Swift, and I must say that the new model which I own here hasn’t failed on my expectations. It still feels perky enough to drive, thanks to the very responsive petrol engine and light but precise steering.
