I think Mitsubishi has priced the Montero aggressively in the UAE market considering how intensely competitive the 7 seater SUV segment is. This full size, three row SUV serves well for a large family and also has off road elements to it. Not very unconventional in its appearance, yet the Montero appears contemporary. A closer look also reveals that the cabin is quite spacious with enough leg and shoulder room across all three rows. The interior is also reasonably fine with superior quality fit and finish.

The Toyota Rush is what I’d call a value-for-money family car. It’s not a luxury SUV, but it does the basics well. The seven seats are a big plus for bigger families, though the last row is more for kids than adults. The engine is small, so don’t expect crazy speed, but it’s enough for city driving and the occasional highway trip. I like that it’s fuel efficient and doesn’t cost a fortune to maintain, which matters a lot. The A/C is strong, and the cabin is simple but practical. If you just want an affordable car to move the family around without stressing about bills, the Rush is a sensible choice.
