Pre-Booking Process

Buyers in the UAE interested in the XPENG GX can now place a pre-order through an online form on the official XPENG UAE website. The process involves providing contact details to register interest.

Along with this, a refundable deposit of AED 10,000 is reported to be required to complete the pre-booking. However, final pricing for the UAE market has not been disclosed. The online registration is an expression of interest, not a final purchase contract, so buyers should confirm the booking terms and delivery timeline with an XPENG official dealership before proceeding.

The XPENG GX has the proportions of a large SUV. Its overall shape is clean and modern, with minimal sharp creases. At the front, the design is defined by a blacked-out grille panel and slim adaptive LED headlamps.

Powertrain and Range

The GX is a range-extender electric vehicle, or EREV. This means the wheels are always driven by electric motors. A 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine is onboard, but it doesn't power the wheels directly. Instead, it acts as a generator to recharge the 63.3 kWh battery when needed.

The vehicle can also run on pure-electric power for up to a claimed 430 km before the petrol generator needs to start.
