Kia unveils refreshed EV6 with enhanced design and extended range

ABU DHABI: Kia has revealed the upgraded EV6 in South Korea. The latest version of the EV sports improved comfort, an enhanced range, and a refreshed design. It comes with many innovative features aimed at elevating security, convenience, and safety for drivers.

With the facelifted version, the Kia EV6 showcases the new family design of the brand, boasting 'Star Map Signature Lighting' in the new DRLs. Triangular housings for high and low-beam lights enhance the EV’s aggressive styling, while its rugged appearance is further complemented by its newly designed wheels.

The facelifted EV6 comes with a redesigned steering wheel with flattened bottom and top sections for enhanced aesthetic appeal and comfort. Inside, it boasts a taller centre pad adorned beautifully with an off-centred brand insignia that enhances the interior ambiance of the crossover. 

The dashboard features an updated pattern on the passenger side and a new panoramic curved panel. The latter integrates a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment unit paired with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The latest Kia EV6 is equipped with an upgraded 84 kWh battery pack that offers up to 494 km range as per the South Korean testing standards, a 4% increment from the 475 km of the previous model.

The new EV6 lineup of Kia includes AWD and RWD variants. The RWD model is equipped with a single motor that produces 168 kW (229 PS) and 350 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the AWD version features an additional front motor for 239 kW (325 PS) combined output and 605 Nm of torque.
