Gargash Motors Unveils GAC AION and HYPTEC EV Line-up in UAE

Abu Dhabi : Gargash Motors brings GAC Motor’s AION and HYPTEC electric vehicles to the UAE, as they launch three futuristic models.

AION marks GAC’s accessible EV line for everyday users. The AION ES is a sleek sedan equipped with a 55.2 kWh battery producing 100 kW of power. It offers a driving range of up to 442 km (CLTC) and supports 800V fast charging for added convenience.

The AION ES comes with advanced driver assistance systems, a minimalist design, and an 8-year warranty. Colour choices include Pure White, Glamour Black, Ultra-fast Silver, and Holographic Silver.

HYPTEC HT: Premium Performance in SUV Form

The HYPTEC HT represents GAC’s luxury offering. Available in two trims — Elite and Ultra — the Ultra version features iconic gullwing doors. Powered by a 72.7 kWh battery and delivering 180 kW of power, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds.

The SUV provides a 510 km (CLTC) range and is filled with luxury features such as Nappa leather, massage seats, a 14.6-inch HD touchscreen, and a Dolby Atmos sound system.

HYPTEC SSR: Electric Power Redefined

Also unveiled was the HYPTEC SSR, a high-performance electric supercar powered by a tri-motor AWD setup and a 74.7 kWh battery. It is built on a 900V SiC platform and boasts 1,225 hp and 12,000 Nm torque.

The SSR achieves 0–100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds in its Ultimate Track variant. It also includes a carbon-fibre body, active aerodynamics, and an AI-enhanced cockpit.

Digital Convenience: GAC Mobile App

To improve ownership, Gargash also launched the GAC Customer App. The app offers remote start, performance tracking, service booking, and multilingual support. It’s designed to enhance the overall EV experience for UAE users.
