2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger revealed; boasts an impressive 1,110 km range

ABU DHABI: Electric trucks have lots of power, but their driving range is not that impressive. The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, which is a part of the redesigned 2025 Ram 1500 pickup series, breaks this notion by incorporating a gasoline-fed generator.

The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is outfitted with a cutting-edge powertrain with a powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine, a 92-kilowatt-hour battery pack, and a 130-kilowatt onboard generator. This setup powers the 238-kW rear and the 250-kW front electric drive modules.

The pickup's bi-directional charging makes it stand out, as it can easily charge other Stellantis electric vehicles. The Ramcharger's onboard power allows you to run multiple outdoor equipment or tools, making it the best option for outdoor activities. Whether you label it a range-extended EV or a PHEV, the Ramcharger is an efficient truck that takes just 4.4 seconds to achieve a 0-to-60 mph speed.

The all-new pickup truck is expected to deliver an impressive performance with 615 Newton meters of torque and 663 horsepower. It utilizes the new STLA Frame architecture which is used in full-sized electric vehicles. An efficient body-on-frame layout incorporates the battery pack seamlessly.

The interior of the Ram 1500 Ramcharger is equipped with all the modern technologies, including a 10.25-inch passenger screen, a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and a digital rearview mirror. A premium 23-Klipsch audio system is a standard feature of this pickup truck. Owners can use a digital key via the Ram app to start and unlock the vehicle.
