Suzuki Swift (2012-2021)

The Suzuki Swift is perfect for my daily routine, whether it’s zipping through traffic or searching for a spot in a packed parking lot. Its compact size saves me a lot of stress, and the steering is super light, making the car really responsive. I even remember a day when I suddenly had to drive through heavy rain; the brakes worked perfectly, and I felt totally safe. The engine feels peppy enough for city traffic and running quick errands. Sometimes, I just enjoy driving it for the fun of it! It’s not about luxury, but about practicality, efficiency, and easy ownership. For anyone wanting something reliable and easy, the Swift is hard to beat.

The Swift which has received a much needed upgrade in 2024, what caught my attention is the lightweight HEARTECT platform, which enhances collision safety and reduces cabin noise with sound/vibration adhesive. This is something special in the segment, at such an affordable price. In terms of features, the top-spec ZXi+ variant now gets a 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, LED fog lamps, wireless phone charger, push-button start/stop, rear AC vents, cruise control, and auto climate control. The standard safety includes six airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP, seat belt reminders, hill-hold assist, and a reverse camera.

The 2024 new generation Swift now comes with a far more compelling value proposition. This compact car is a bargain buy, especially for those buyers who are looking for their first car be it a small family or an individual, it is highly affordable, offers excellent mileage making it quite light on the pocket. The Swift is also phenomenal inside, the cabin is not that bad, spacious given the segment. Most importantly, I think it drives really well, and especially good for city driving for daily commuting, starting at AED 50K is great.

I am always in favor of this Suzuki model. Indeed, other than flaunting a remarkable style the model is surely a swift one. The interior section showcases a stunning cabin that is equipped with a marvelous dashboard. The car can exhibit amazing ergonomics besides. The manual transmission of the car is quite user friendly. For city driving purpose this model should be selected without being hesitant due to its exceptional drivability. The sound of the sporty engine is pretty exhilarating as well. The car is brimming with utilitarian features like LED DRLs, nine-inch touchscreen, LED foglamps and automatic LED projector headlamps.

I am sure this small hatchback from Suzuki needs no such introduction as it has already been embraced by host of car admirers. Yet I am so satisfied with the decision of buying the car that I am excited to share my happiness with others. The car will facilitate its buyers by offering extra spacious interior cabin. The kind of fun that I get while driving the car everytime always give a sense of positivity on daily basis. The economic price range will surely tempt any buyer who has a budget in mind yet looking for a standard quality vehicle for daily commuting.

Just got Suzuki Swift 2024 from official dealer in Dubai. I love small but fast cars. So, forget about "fast". ?‍♀️ This lovely car start beeping on the 120 km/h and NEVER stops until speeds goes down. It's soooo disaster and killing all the mood of driving on a highway. I visited service center and they generously agreed to remove this crazy sound, but only along with a lot of other really useful warnings ??? The rest is OK, normal small car. Good on the road, has cruise control, but no line keeper. Quite big screen. Connecting to the phone by Bluetooth. I am still checking other features, but perspective of driving below 120 for the next 5 years or next 100 000 km (I bought a service plan also) has really killed all the joy from the new car. ? Disappointing.

In the past one year of driving the car almost on a daily basis, I can say that it is true to its name, that is “Swift”. Agile, comfortable and super easy to handle, the Suzuki Swift is a joy to drive through urban traffic and takes so much stress off driving through heavy traffic. Performance is also quite commendable, making it a hatchback that is fit for all kinds of distances and driving conditions.

Great comfort and convenience is offered by the car inside, and it is perfect for everyday driving with smooth handling and excellent performance backed by great fuel efficiency as well. Overall, it is an amazing and value for money hatch to buy in the UAE market right now.

Suzuki Swift is a five-seater hatchback that makes it the best family car I could ever get for this price range. The overall packaging of this car is very modest and decent which makes it a very lightweight car and easy to drive. I am very happy with what I have got under the roof. The dimensions of the car are pretty much convincing for the roads of UAE and keep it ready for venturing out on city roads or a little bit of off-roading. I love this Hatchback and how it has turned out to be outside the showrooms.

Before shifting to UAE from India, I had owned the Suzuki Swift in the subcontinent, and the new generation model that I now own here in UAE do give me a sense of familiarity. However, thanks to all the significant changes yet staying true to he original Swift’s design ethos, I do appreciate Suzuki’s efforts for the evolutionary design of the new Swift in and out. Despite having a lot of changes, it still feels very Swift-like, particularly its silhouette. The two door design theme, with he rear door handles recessed in the D-pillars, indeed is a nice sporty touch, and so are the LED projector headlamps. I have always been a fan of the driving experience of the original Swift, and I must say that the new model which I own here hasn’t failed on my expectations. It still feels perky enough to drive, thanks to the very responsive petrol engine and light but precise steering.
