Introduction:
The new Lincoln MKC has impacted the luxury market with its sophisticated but righteously fitting looks, wooing customers at a lesser cost than its equivalent luxury brand. Lincoln launched the MKC concept at the 2013 while the production model officially went on sale in June 2014. It is powered by the choice of two four cylindered Eco-bost engines ,first one is 2.0-litre and other one is 2.3 litre. It has attracted the customers with its alluring standard features including central-locking with keyless entry, push-start engine and signature push button gear shifter. The advanced technology inclusion like park-out assist technology,collision warning system with brake support and automatic brake assist sensitivity assists the driver to avoid common accidents makes the car desirable and is a rude wake up call for its rivals like Audi Q5 and Cadillac SRX.

The American automakers have designed the interiors in such a way that aggrandizes the driving experience alongwith a supreme comfort and is a perfect amalgamation of modern design and ample cabin space. The exterior design of the car has got that sturdiness of an SUV blended with elegance. The anodized roof-rack side rails, the dynamic rear spoiler and dual bright exhaust tips gives the car an air of charisma. Its standard hands-free/power liftgate and LED signature lamps and reverse sensing system with integrated blind spot mirrors makes it more sophisticated. The overall dimensions of the car stand out to be 4552 mm x 1939 mm x 1657 mm and the wheelbase measures 2690 mm which makes the car quite spacious inside.

The car is available in 2 variants namely Select and Reserve and both of these variants are available in 2 engine choices. The four-cylindered ecoboost 2.0 litre delivers a maximum power of 240 hp at 5500 rpm along with 366 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. These figures enhance significantly with the 2.3 litre engine which can generate a maximum power of 285 hp at 5500 rpm coupled with a peak torque of 413 Nm at 2750 rpm. The 2.0 litre engine is fairly economical and can deliver a mileage of 8.4 kmpl. The car is known to pick up numbers quite swiftly. With the 2.3 litre ecoboost engine, you can accelerate from naught to 100 km/hr in 6.8 seconds.

The car has been incorporated with power disc brakes with anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and roll stability control which provides you an efficient braking performance. The continuously controlled damping employed in the car lets you choose from 3 driving modes and can continuously monitor suspension settings 500 times per second. Standard airbags have been provided including the optimally placed knee,side-curtain airbags with roll-fold technology and front side airbags which assure safety of the driver in case of any mishap. The other salient safety features includes Personal Safety System for driver and front passenger, SecuriCode invisible keypad which unlock doors and opens trunk or liftgate without using a key or remote and so on which makes sure that you have a safe ride.
