Cabin

This is a new SUV that has reached our market; however, it is quite clear that the cabin and overall interior look quite familiar. Lincoln has kept it similar to what you see in its other SUVs, and, despite being a compact SUV, the space appears to be quite enough.

In the cockpit, you see a 13.2-inch LCD touchscreen on the dashboard running Lincoln’s SYNC 4 system, paired with a 12.3-inch configurable instrument cluster. Interestingly, the same screen sizes are found in the larger Nautilus despite the Corsair sitting a full segment below it.

One of the key advantages when driving around Dubai and Sharjah is the Corsair’s smaller size. Highway Performance

This can be a good fit for buyers who want the Corsair’s cabin technology and driving experience without paying for leather seats or the full safety package.

Reserve

The top-end variant comes with leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats, a 20-inch wheel, a hands-free liftgate, and Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 Vision with its 360-degree camera and front parking sensors. If you want the Corsair in its most complete, best-equipped form, this is the variant to choose, but it comes with a noticeable premium.

Zigwheels Recommendation

If you can afford it, our choice here is the Reserve over Premiere, mainly because of the safety-equipment gap between the two, rather than the leather seats or bigger wheels. The 360-degree camera and front sensors make a real difference when parking a car this size in Dubai’s tighter multi-story car parks.

Buyers on a tighter budget who mainly drive on open roads rather than in crowded city parking will lose less by sticking with Premiere than the specification difference might suggest.

By now, you know the Corsair and some of its characters. It is evident that it is not trying to be a smaller Navigator; rather, it is a totally different proposition built to compete with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3 on their own terms, with cabin technology and comfort rather than outright prestige.

Being the latest arrival in Lincoln’s UAE lineup works both for and against it: the technology inside is properly current, but there is less of a track record here than with the German compact SUVs it is aimed at.

Keeping that in mind, you must make a decision. However, looking purely at the SUV itself, it has the technology, capability, and appearance you would expect from a modern compact luxury SUV, and it should provide a predictable ownership experience. A rather well-put-together package.
