Hyundai Palisade

For the UAE, the Hyundai Palisade is available in multiple leather upholstery and interior themes, including dual-tone cool grey and black, all-black, black and burgundy, and dual-tone navy blue with warm grey, all of which also are distinguished from each other with their trim levels and accents. The high-quality leather and impeccable fit and finish for the panels make the cabin of the Palisade a luxurious place to be in. 

The Hyundai Palisade has a horizontally stretched, wide-looking cockpit with 10.25-inch screens placed beside each other for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system. The central layer of the dashboard has a sleek design with integrated slim AC vents, a push start-stop button and buttons for the audio system within it.

The high-placed centre tunnel between the front seats of the Palisade houses climate control switches, controls for transmission, and drive modes, and an electronic parking brake switch. There are a plethora of features present in the cabin of the Hyundai Palisade, including heated and ventilated front seats, a two-part sunroof, powered front seats with a memory function for the driver’s seat, a head-up display, and a wireless charger.

The Hyundai Palisade has a conventional suspension setup of Macpherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear under its skin. With a soft-tuned setup for this suspension combination, the Palisade delivers a supple drive experience with excellent ride quality. The additional drive modes further enhance the dynamics of the Palisade on varying terrain conditions. However, the large dimensions of the Palisade can make it difficult to manoeuvre in city traffic conditions at times. 

There are two petrol engine options on offer for the Hyundai Palisade in the UAE. The 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V6 petrol engine generates 277 PS of maximum power and 335 Nm of maximum torque. On the other hand, the 3.8-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine claims 295 PS of maximum power and 355 Nm of maximum torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard in both these variants. 

The wide array of autonomous driving assistance features available in the Hyundai Palisade as standard are smart cruise control with stop-and-go function, lane following assist, forward collision avoidance assist, high beam assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, driver attention assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, leading vehicle departure alert, safe exit alert and rear occupant alert.

The other essential safety features that are also available in the Palisade are six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, hill descent control, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, traction control, parking cameras, trailer stability assist, front and rear parking sensors and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
