An everyday, practical hatchback that serves you well for daily city driving, highway, and also some elements of off roading too. This is the summary of my lovely X2 for over the last two years now. I just love this beautifully crafted compact hatchback from BMW that makes my everyday special. I drive the car for over 50 km daily mostly in Abu Dhabi, and even after such consistent use, the car continues to perform exceedingly well. There is never a dull moment, and the cozyness doesn’t allow any fatigue even after a day long drive.

The BMW X2 is a more adventurous and expressive choice within the SUV lineup of the brand. Its fun-to-drive nature and funky styling make it an excellent choice for those seeking a dynamic and exciting driving experience. While it does not have the same practicality level as its sibling, it compensates in that department with its spirited performance and unique charm, appealing to drivers who only give priority to personality and style on the road. It is also equipped with many M-powered red, blue, and purple trimmings that usually accompany the motorsport-fueled sub-brand of BMW.

This SUV has proven to be a reliable partner for me during both urban as well as highway commute for the past year. The BMW X2 captivates with its dynamic design and urban practicality. Its compact size and bold styling make a statement in city traffic. Moreover, the performance is nimble and efficient. Having said that, fuel efficiency could have been a little better in my opinion. On the inside, the X2 offers a comfortable interior with innovative features. There is ample headspace for the driver, but the rear row feels a bit cramped due to the sloping roofline. All in all, it is a great everyday vehicle.

If you want your car to draw the attention of people, BMW X2 should be your preferred choice. Its styling and aggressive design sets it apart from its competitors. But its ride quality is not smooth, and even a rutted road can make you feel uncomfortable. The sport-tuned suspension is overly stiff, making it a bad choice for daily driving. Even in the comfort mode, the ride is not comfortable. While driving it on the highway at a sedate speed, the ride quality is still harsh. You should go for it only if you value style more than performance.

The BMW X2 is a new model that will soon be available in the UAE. And ever since I have heard about its arrival, my days are passing in so much excitement. I am sure of buying this car as soon as it kisses the ground of UAE. It is a compact crossover SUV with five seats that has excellent safety features and is supported by a sturdy chassis. As far as disclosed the car will be dropped with only one engine option, a 1998 cc engine with a maximum power output of 192 hp, at a price of AED 133,700.
