Audi has typically offered spacious cabins in most of its cars and the A7 Sportback is no different. There are no flashy colours that grab attention. Instead, the cabin relies mostly on a monochrome palette to convey the upmarket appeal. Brushed metal, cool silver, and gloss black panels in primary shades adorn the interior. There are two cupholders in the central console. But these can’t hold large-size cups. All doors get bins. There’s a neat folding tray built into the central armrest at the back. Boot space is huge at 535 litres with all seats up. There’s a 10.1-inch screen to operate most of the features like satellite navigation, radio, and media connectivity. The lower 8.7-inch screen is primarily used to adjust the ventilation and heating. Both screens are easy to operate but are a bit distractive.

The 2024 A7 Sportback looks handsome from all angles. Its design is more of an evolution than revolution. The basic proportions and silhouette has been retained for the 2024 model-year. The Audi A7 Sportback is a four-door coupe with a low-slung roofline. It’s a design element that has become increasingly common in recent times. There’s a relatively sharply cut-off low tail. But it’s a little shorter and narrower than the earlier version. The rear end is less distinctive than other Audis. The German manufacturer has revised covers over both bumpers. The supportive shape and soft leather makes it easy relax and travel for hundreds of miles at a stretch without feeling cramped. The rear seats are well padded like those in the front and occupants get a generous amount of knee room. Even with the low-slung roof, there’s no dearth of headroom on the rear seat. Other amenities include ambient interior lighting, three-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. The suspension system is on the firmer side. The optional adaptive air suspension is much better.

The 2024 Audi A7 Sportback is available in two engine options in the Emirates. The top model is equipped with a turbocharged, six-cylinder, 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 350 PS/700 Nm. The motor is mated to a Quattro all-wheel-drive, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic with manual shifting mode. Though it’s a big car, the Audi A7 Sportback is surprisingly easy to drive in traffic. The wide windscreen offers a great view of the road, aided by the pillars. It is impressively manoeuvrable for such a big-size car. On the highway, the car offers an extremely balanced drive.    

All models of the 2024 Audi A7 Sportback gets 10 airbags. Other equipment includes pre-sense emergency mitigation system in the front that uses radar and ultrasonic sensors to detect and mitigate imminent crashes. The optional Park Pilot system uses a number of cameras and sensors to automatically steer the car into all sorts of parking spaces. All wheels come with disc brakes.
