Suzuki's futuristic eWX Concept to debut at Japan Mobility Show 2023

ABU DHABI: The Japanese carmaker Suzuki will unveil the futuristic eWX concept at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show. The eWX concept will be showcased along with the all-new Swift and eVX EV SUV. 

The new eWX concept is an upright and boxy Kei car equipped with an all-electric drivetrain. The Suzuki eWX concept is expected to be a crossover of the practical and fun mini wagon.

The eWX concept will target Japan's existing Kei car buyers looking to transition to an electric vehicle. It emphasizes sustainability and everyday usability. Considering its overall styling, many people may compare it to the WagonR.

When it comes to size, the eWX concept is smaller than the S-Presso, underscoring its focus on efficiency and compactness, which is one of the most notable characteristics of Kei cars. The compact dimensions of the eWX concept make it a good choice for those on the lookout for a city-centric EV.

Suzuki has claimed that the eWX concept will offer 230 km of driving range on a single charge.

The Spacia and Spacia Custom concepts and e Every Concept commercial electric van concept will join the eWX concept at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show. Beyond these Kei car concepts, many other innovative concepts will be showcased at the event, ranging from robotics to two-wheeled vehicles and personal mobility solutions.
