OMODA & JAECOO unveils Super Hybrid System with V2L charging for match-day gatherings

Extended range and V2L output are the draws OMODA & JAECOO is highlighting for UAE buyers, particularly those using the vehicles at outdoor events.

Chery International's OMODA & JAECOO brand is marketing its Super Hybrid System (SHS) in the UAE. New convenience features and a wider dealer network accompany the rollout, which targets summer football gatherings and inter-Emirate travel. The campaign runs under the 'FOREVER 26, PLAY LOUD, SHINE PROUD' banner.

The three-pillar hybrid promise

The brand described three strengths: Super High Power, Super Low Energy Consumption, and Super Long Combined Range.

Both models carry the Super Hybrid System as standard, with a combined driving range of over 1,300 kilometres on a single tank. That cuts refuelling stops sharply. Thermal management keeps efficiency up during peak UAE summer heat, when air-conditioning runs continuously. City traffic and long inter-Emirate runs are both covered.

V2L and intelligent parking

Among the technologies shown, Vehicle-to-Load capability lets drivers power devices at outdoor gatherings.

V2L is also on the list. Vehicle-to-Load lets the QX60's battery power projectors, speakers, lighting equipment and other devices directly. Desert camping and outdoor events are the obvious fits.

OMODA & JAECOO has confirmed VPD (Valet Parking Driver) and Super Intelligent Parking (SIP) for selected UAE models. No timeline has been set.

Market traction in the UAE

According to Chery International, OMODA & JAECOO has sold more than 5,000 vehicles in the UAE. Globally, the brand crossed one million total sales within three years.

The numbers support those technology claims. Over 5,000 vehicles have been sold across the UAE, part of one million delivered globally in three years. On Sheikh Zayed Road, a second Dubai showroom now operates at Oasis Mall. The company has also entered AiMOGA humanoid robotics, moving beyond automotive manufacturing.
