Kia has launched the all-electric EV5, a mid-size SUV built to suit modern families and drivers who are tech-savvy. It has a blend of style, space, and real-world electric performance in a package tailored for daily use and escapes on the weekend.
The Kia EV5, which is built on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP platform, is now part of the growing electric range of Kia, which includes the EV6 and EV9, as a key player in the electrification roadmap of the brand.

What Sets the EV5 Apart
The EV5 has a balanced form and function. It has a bold SUV look with practical smart technology. The exterior has the signature ‘Opposites United’ design of Kia, with a strong stance, sharp geometric lines, and LED lighting at both ends.
The cabin is flexible on the inside. There's also a combination of a panoramic display, a 12.3-inch driver cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and 5-inch climate panel in a single horizontal unit.

It has other features like all-wheel drive, regenerative braking, and the new i-Pedal 3.0 system which helps bring smooth, one-pedal control.
The EV5 has V2L and future-ready V2G capabilities that can power external devices or feed energy back into the grid. There is a trailer mode that helps detect extra weight and adjusts the range of driving. Towing capacity is up to 1,200 kg in Korea and Europe.
