Abu Dhabi : GAC Motor has launched its luxury EV brand Hyptec in the UAE, led by the all-electric Hyptec HT SUV and the ultra-high-performance Hyptec SSR supercar preview.

GAC and Gargash Launch Hyptec EV Brand in UAE

GAC Motor, in partnership with Gargash Motors, has launched its premium electric sub-brand, Hyptec, at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City. This marks GAC’s strongest EV push in the region to date. The event featured the debut of two major models: the road-ready Hyptec HT SUV and the extreme-performance Hyptec SSR electric supercar.

Hyptec SSR: The Electric Hypercar Preview

GAC also showcased the Hyptec SSR—an AWD electric supercar with 1,224hp and 1,230Nm torque. Highlights are:

• 0–100 km/h in 1.9 seconds (Ultimate).
• Carbon fiber body with 74.69kWh battery.
• Range: 506 km (CLTC).
• Designed by Pontus Fontaeus.

The SSR’s UAE launch date is yet to be confirmed. Prices in China start at ¥1,286,000 (~AED 650,400).
