These new models will give drivers in the UAE a cleaner yet high-performance option for daily use and longer journeys. The launch, which is set for a European release by mid-June 2025, will follow in other markets including the UAE by the third quarter.
The Q5 e-hybrid models, with two power options of 220 kW and 270 kW, will match sportiness with efficiency. Stronger Battery, Smarter Energy Use
One of the most notable upgrades is the new high-voltage battery. Audi has boosted its net capacity to 20.7 kWh, which is about 45% more than the earlier version.
That means there will be an all-electric range of up to 100 kilometers, which is perfect for UAE city commutes or short desert escapes without emissions. Full charging via 11 kW AC takes just 2.5 hours.
Drivers can pick between two modes: EV (electric-only) and hybrid. In hybrid mode, the system smartly reserves electric energy for later when drivers most need it. The new digital slider now allows users to manually adjust battery usage, which adds more control to the driving experience.
