2024 Kia Carnival facelift revealed in full

ABU DHABI: After releasing the facelifted Carnival minivan's exterior shots, Kia has shared the full details of the MPV.  The upgraded model has a wide grille, chrome bits, and L-shaped headlamps. The grille features chrome bits, and there is a small air intake on the bumper. 

The 2024 Carnival has also got a new set of dual-tone 19-inch wheels like the ones seen on newer models like the EV9 and EV5. The number plate holder has been placed lower than the previous iteration, and the tailgate handle has been removed. The hybrid powertrain models are being offered with 18-inch alloy wheels.

The new Carnival gets a new infotainment curved unit with two 12.3-inch screens. One of them functions as the infotainment unit, and the other one serves as the digital instrument screen. You also get the option to start the updated Carnival with your fingerprint. It also gets reworked audio and AC controls, an updated digital key, rear and front dash cameras, and a heads-up display. 

The infotainment unit has been upgraded for better over-the-air updates. Top-notch materials have been used for pleasant cabin ambiance and sound insulation. The shock absorbers have also been changed for better ride comfort. 

Along with advanced safety features like lane change assist and adaptive cruise control, you also get an updated ADAS suite. On the international model, eight airbags are being offered. 

The Carnival facelift will be available in three powertrain options: a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid, a 3.5-litre petrol, and a 2.2-litre diesel. The petrol hybrid powertrain can generate 245 hp and 367 Nm. 

The Kia Carnival facelift model won't be coming to the UAE anytime soon.
