Fold the last row and there’s loads of space for those big “monthly shopping” runs. It’s a sensible pick for families. I found it practical, reliable, and easy to own.

While I’m not a big fan of Mitsubishi as a brand, it has over the years now lost its touch and I don’t think of them as a big market share puller. Nobody feels attracted towards Mitsubishi cars anymore, and there are good reasons for that, a very boring and outdated portfolio of cars. However, the Xpander has some promise, as it is a big 7 seater SUV that fits well for bigger families, and without spending too much money, it offers plenty of benefits, and has been decently equipped with a large and comfortable cabin.

The new Xpander that Mitsubishi has introduced in Emeritus is a refreshing change in the seven seater SUV segment. I especially liked the High Line variant which is nicely packed with features that are now essential in this segment. The Xpander comes across a well designed car that offers comfort, safety and a lot of space inside the cabin, humongous space for luggage, you can use the last row for additional luggage. This makes it a practical family car that offers everything at a very attractive price point. I’m looking forward to a test drive of this car shortly.
