Its combined range of over 800 km removes the fuel-stop anxiety that a plug-in rival like the G318 can still carry on a long desert weekend. And buying just one, fully equipped trim removes the guesswork rival brands' longer trim ladders create.

What it doesn't have yet are the typical new brand's faces, the UAE ownership track record, or a dealer network as deep as Toyota's or Hyundai's.
