Haval has not made any major changes to the Jolion in the UAE market, and it still comes in its old-gen avatar and features three trims that start from AED 69,900. Powering this SUV is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 147hp of power and 220Nm of torque. Power is sent to all the wheels via an automatic transmission unit. Comfort features on the Jolion include a 360-degree camera, climate control, push-button start, keyless entry etc. The safety kit includes features like an Anti-Lock Braking System with EBD, Hill Assist, dynamic stability control, tire pressure monitoring and parking sensors, to name a few.

Futuristic design, comfortable seating position

I thoroughly researched and test-drove the Haval Jolion at three different showrooms and it definitely paid me off. The Haval Jolion is one of the finest vehicles I have ever driven. Many of my relatives advised me not to buy this Chinese SUV because of their bad experience with Chinese cars. However, I knew that the Jolion was different from the other Chinese SUVs that failed to impress because of their poor build quality and uninteresting design. However, the Haval Jolion offers the perfect combination of affordability, appealing exterior design, and commendable performance.

Car that offers excellent safety rating but unimpressive driving experience

When I first encountered this car model little did I know about it. But I was almost instantly convinced by the sales person in the showroom as he gave me a vivid idea about its genuine value and safety rating. These factors always matter the most to me. The model is available with an extended warranty period which is again a positive trait about the car to consider. But all my interest went in vein when I tried a test drive on this. I never expected the driving experience would be that pathetic on this.
