Ford is preparing to discontinue the Escape alongside Edge and Transit Connect by 2025 with the aim of ramping up its production of EVs. As for the UAE, this compact crossover is available in two variants – 1.5L Trend AT and 2.0L Titanium AT. The base variant is powered by a 1498cc petrol engine that produces 175 hp of power and 230 Nm of torque, while the top-end variant gets a 1998cc petrol engine that produces 240 hp of power and 366 Nm of torque. Nissan Kicks, Cadillac XT4, and Honda HR-V are some of the competitors of the Escape in the UAE market.
