Kia reveals first images of EV9 electric SUV

ABU DHABI: Kia has unveiled images of the interior and exterior design of the Kia EV9, an electric SUV based on the dedicated platform of Hyundai Motor Group's E-GMP. The Kia EV9 marks a pivotal step in the brand's journey toward becoming a sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions provider.  

The appearance of this vehicle is influenced by Kia's "Opposites United" design concept. You can see the clever use of the creative tension produced by the values of modernity and nature on the car. The front of the EV9 has clear-cut lines. Its bold and sleek exterior expresses calmness and confidence. The side profile of the vehicle combines an indisputable and strong SUV identity with impressive aerodynamic efficiency. 

The EV9's 'Digital Tiger Face' imparts a futuristic and visionary look and feel to the EV9. Its bold lines and aerodynamic shape give it a powerful presence. It has a spacious interior that provides tons of room for cargo and passengers. Passengers sitting in the second and first-row seats can recline their seats to rest and relax when the EV9 is charging. 

Kia's designers have prioritized comfort, technology, and space for passengers, reimagining what a family SUV should look like and offer. It has 12.3-inch touch screens to improve your digital experience. The EV9's high-definition audiovisual, telematics screen and navigation create an immersive experience.

The EV's advanced battery technology is very useful and provides up to 300 miles range on a single charge, making it perfect for long trips. It also comes with a regenerative braking system that reduces the need for frequent charging and maximizes efficiency.

Kia EV9 will make its global debut in the first quarter of 2023. The Kia EV9 will follow in the footsteps of the all-electric EV6, which has received tons of critical accolades. We anticipate the company will bring EV9's production model to the UAE soon after its global debut.
