Audi reveals new Q5 Sportback with gasoline and diesel engines

ABU DHABI: Audi has introduced the all-new Q5 Sportback, the standard Q5’s stylish coupe-SUV variant that offers a sleek and dynamic design.

With its coupe-like distinctive silhouette, the Q5 Sportback exudes a refined yet sporty character. The model showcases striking design elements, such as aerodynamic enhancements and updated rear and front styling. Inside, it comes with advanced technological features for improved convenience and connectivity, alongside premium finishes and materials. Additionally, various mechanical upgrades have also been done ensuring a more engaging driving experience and enhanced performance.

The new coupe-SUV boasts a modern cabin with three trims: Quattro, Sport, and S Line. Higher versions showcase the 'Digital Stage' by Audi with a 14.5-inch OLED infotainment panel and an 11.9-inch instrument display. You also get an optional 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.

The front design of the new Q5 Sportback is identical to the standard SUV but a few standout elements include a sloping roofline, full-width OLED tail lamps, and a unique rear that features a pronounced spoiler. Its silver trim dual-tone bumper mirrors the standard Q5.

The Q5 Sportback rides on the Premium Platform Combustion which is also available on the standard Q5 and A5 sedan, featuring optional air suspension and upgraded steel springs for improved ride quality. It is also available with a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine with AWD or FWD and a 2.0L diesel engine with Quattro AWD, both boasting 48V mild-hybrid tech that adds up to 24hp. The top-tier SQ5 Sportback comes with a 3.0L V6 TFSI petrol engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, mild-hybrid tech, and a standard Quattro AWD.

Orders for the new Q5 Sportback will start on January 14 and the first customer deliveries are expected to be in May 2025.
